The PrivatePharmacy.com initially came
about as a result of my cashier experiences during college.
As cashiers working in the Health & Beauty Aid sector, we are aware
that some customers are in a dire situation when browsing our
aisles. Sometimes the customer's needs and stress can be
compounded by additional embarrassment and the social stigma
attached to their symptoms or item of choice. While no one came
in our store with a 'detective trench coat' or
'funny nose glasses', we could not help but notice the
nervousness and urgency of certain purchases.
I soon begin to use various strategies to 'cater' to
purchases which were often deemed
embarrassing. In the beginning I thought I may have misread the
customer's discomfort and that my extra steps at
discretion and expedition were in vain. However, my
initial assumptions were eventually confirmed by the many
positive Customer Comments/Suggestion responses I received which
in turn granted me my first pay increase. I had been working
in retail for years and never received a raise. A raise for
an average worker with a crazy school schedule who was often
late? I had to be on to something. Fortunately and unfortunately
I left retail to start interning in my major, but I always kept
this idea in mind for further use. So years later here we
are.... ThePrivatePharmacy.com. I've been fortunate to go back and retrieve the greatest
customer representatives (Summer Smith & Ann Bailey) I've ever dealt with. I have teamed up with the best
